Since he was conceived, Xavier has basked in the loving warmth of an entire community. This community stretches from the Philippines to Morocco, and everywhere in between. This web page is the on-going documentation of his discovering of the world that is greeting him with eyes and arms wide open. Of course, there will be LOTS of pictures. We will have them chronological, so that you can enjoy the delightful progression of our son with us. After a great two and a half years of establishing our careers, traveling a little, and basically just enjoying each other's company, the Caangay family is expanding: We have a baby on the way! Take a look at how big the mother is getting. Christine found out just before I left for Kilimanjaro. Our OB/GYN is Dr. Mary Yankaskas (who is excellent). She told us that the due date is May 4, 2003. Since Caangays are always late (at least socially), I think we are having Cinco de Mayo Baby. She provided us with our first look at our child. Since we both have some family history of stuff, we have also gone to a most-professional and -compassionate perinatologist, Dr. McCurdy (who, by the way, is a Gator!!!!). He and his staff took detailed ultrasounds, and came up with these pictures, showing the baby's body, heart, feet, and PENIS! We are having a boy! Another little Ephraim running around. Could you just die!?!?!?! The survey is over, and here are the results. Click on the pages below to see the ultrasounds.
